Carl Steinbrenner received his Juris Doctorate law degree from the University of Notre Dame and his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois. Carl is also a graduate of Salzburg College in Austria and the Goethe-Institut in Germany.

Carl’s earlier experience includes business management positions as President of Seagate Alliance LLC, a regional healthcare purchasing organization, and Director of Contracting at the University of Rochester. Prior to founding Steinbrenner Law Offices, LLC, Carl was an attorney with one of the largest Western New York law firms focusing on business and corporate matters and transactions. He was also corporate counsel in the law departments of Bausch & Lomb Incorporated and Owens-Illinois, Inc., both global corporations operating throughout the United States and the world.

Carl Steinbrenner was appointed by the Rochester City Council to its Ethics Board and currently serves as its chair. He also serves on the Board of Lifetime Assistance Foundation, Inc. and on its Development Committee. Carl is also active with the Notre Dame Club of Rochester, the Rochester German community, St. Mary's Church in Canandaigua, and the Ontario County Chamber of Commerce.
Those who are familiar with Carl Steinbrenner know he is an ardent Notre Dame football and Buffalo Sabres fan and enjoys travel as well as watching World Cup soccer every four years.
